About Our Society

The Doncaster and District Society of Change Ringers was established in 1921.

We hold our monthly meetings (except December and January) on the last Saturday of the month at towers within a 15 mile radius of Doncaster, Yorkshire, UK.

Our Annual General Meeting is held on the last Saturday of January at The Minster Church of St. George in Doncaster.

The aim of our society is threefold:

  1. To further church service ringing
  2. To encourage and cultivate the scientific art of change ringing
  3. To promote good fellowship amongst ringers.

Our programme for the year is published on the website and each month our meetings are advertised in the Ringing World. Visitors are welcome to attend at our meetings.
